1. Description of the Service

One String Songs is a digital music education platform that provides interactive guitar lessons, exercises, and learning tools through our website and iOS application. The Service is offered on a free and paid subscription basis.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid features are available via recurring subscriptions. All subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the next billing date. Payment processing depends on the platform:

Web (onestringsongs.com)

Payments on the website are processed by Paddle, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Your contract for payment is with Paddle. Prices, billing cycles, and available plans are displayed on the pricing page. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and Paddle's terms.

iOS App (App Store)

In-app purchases on iOS are processed by Apple through the App Store. Your purchase is subject to Apple's Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Subscription management (including cancellation and renewal) is handled through your Apple ID settings. Refunds for App Store purchases are managed by Apple through their Report a Problem page.

4. License and Restrictions

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may not:

• Copy, redistribute, or resell any content, lessons, or software
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Transfer your account or license to another person

5. Educational Disclaimer

One String Songs provides educational content only. We do not guarantee specific learning results or musical progress.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, lessons, text, graphics, audio samples, and software are the property of One String Songs or its licensors and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

7. Account Deletion and Termination

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at kirill@onestringsongs.com. Upon deletion, your usage history, favorites, practice data, and subscription records will be removed within 30 days.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service in case of misuse, violation of these Terms, or unlawful behavior.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, One String Songs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Service. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

9. Apple App Store Additional Terms

The following terms apply when you access the Service through the iOS application downloaded from the Apple App Store:

• These Terms are between you and One String Songs, not Apple. One String Songs is solely responsible for the Service and its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the application.
• In the event of any failure of the application to conform to applicable warranties, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any); beyond that, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the application, including product liability, legal compliance, or intellectual property infringement claims.
• In the event of a third-party intellectual property claim, One String Songs (not Apple) is responsible for investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable international laws and regulations. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with the laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which the service provider operates.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice within the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
